Issuance of Tax Declaration for Newly Declared Lands, Buildings and Machineries

ABOUT THE SERVICE

Owners of newly-discovered lots, newly-constructed buildings, whether residential, commercial or industrial, and machineries are required to declared them for their fair market value to be determined and for the assessed valuation of the properties, for taxation purposes.

The fair market value of building is determine by computing its area and type of building, multiplied by its based market value as approved by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of this province, then multiplied by its assessment level to come up with the assessed value.

The fair market value of brand new machinery is based on the acquisition cost, or upon the sworn statement of the owners as to the cost, then multiplied by 80% to determine its assessed value.

REQUIREMENTS
A.1) FOR NEWLY DECLARED LAND – UNTITLED PROPERTY

  1. Sketch Plan
  2. Certification from DENR as to A and D
  3. Affidavit of Ownership
  4. Affidavit of Adjoining Owners

A.2) FOR NEWLY DECLARED LAND = TITLED / UNTAXMAP PROPERTY

  1. Sketch Plan
  2. Photocopy of the title authenticated by the Municipal Assessor

B. FOR NEWLY DECLARED BUILDING

  1. Actual Building Sketch Map with Dimension (in meters)

C. FOR NEWLY DECLARED MACHINERY

  1. Official receipts of purchase or sworn statement of the owner as to prices, year acquired installed and operated
