Attending Pre-marriage Counseling Seminars
ABOUT THE SERVICE
THE OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL SOCIAL WELFARE (MSWDO) spearheads the conduct of Pre-Marriage Counseling (PMC) Seminars to would-be couples. A PMC Certificate is a prerequisite in securing a marriage license.
PMC Seminars are held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Facilitators from different agencies ( MHO & MAO ) conduct seminars. The PMC Certificate is awarded to participants right after the activity.

| Couple proceeds to MSWDO before 8:00 am and register names in a logbook for record purposes and answer Marriage Inventory Questioners. | 20 minutes | |
| Conduct of Seminar | ||
| Person-in-charge directs the couples to the Social Development Center Multi-Purpose Hall where Pre-Marriage Counseling Seminars are held. The 5 areas of concern will be discussed during the seminar. | 6 hours | |
| Awarding of Certificates | ||
